Why is there a discrepancy between the data in my LinkedIn Campaign Manager and the ML Platform?
As an ABM platform, MLP only reports on the data from accounts on your target list for the flight dates of your MLP campaign. When matched audiences are targeted in LinkedIn, due to the nature of the Social network, your content will be served to users beyond your targeted accounts. For example, if a user shares your sponsored update to their own network of connections, it is exposed to additional users who may not be on your target account list.
As a result, this can will cause discrepancies with the data you see in the LinkedIn Campaign Manager vs MLP. LinkedIn reporting reports on all engagement with the content featured in your campaign, whereas the LinkedIn data in MLP represents the reach and engagement of the accounts on your target list within your MLP program flight dates.
