Setup

  1. Here’s a link to the ML.Platform’s Salesforce Integrate Guide: Integrate ML Platform with Salesforce

    1. This process takes just a few minutes and will require your Salesforce credentials for authentication- see the link above for full integration details.

  2. Once integrated, reach out to your ML Implementation Manager to finish the setup on your account so you can view the new ROI based metrics.

Note:

  • It will take up to a week for the first data synch, at which point data will be synced every morning at 9am (EST).

  • Journey Acceleration must be added at both the account and user level.

  • Once synced it will appear as a tab next to “Programs” here:

  1. you’ll need to navigate to “Setup Measurement” and under the Pipeline tab you’ll find the sync toggle used to turn on and off the data stream from Salesforce to the MLP platform. Data is synced once per day (at around 9 am est) to update the data points with the latest from Salesforce and your ML programs.

    1. Note: It takes 24 hours for the Pipeline tab to populate with data after turning the sync on. Data from SF is only available for the past year. This means that

    1. Pipeline is only available for campaigns that have run in the last 12 months.

Access

After syncing, access can be controlled on a user level through the Manage Users section in MLP. By default, the Pipeline tab is visible to all users.

Select the user you would like to change and under the actions dropdown select edit.

From there, you can select the “Hide Pipeline” option from the Feature dropdown to remove the tab from that user’s view.
