Building Programs Using Eloqua Segments

Once your Eloqua integration is complete, you can start building programs that leverage your Eloqua contact fields 

  1. Under the Select/Upload your Target Accounts Page click Eloqua
  2. On the left hand side of the page select Segments
  3. Choose the Segment you'd like to create a filter against 
  4. To see how many accounts match the Segments you've added, click Find Accounts at the bottom of the page
  5. Once your Segments are selected, you can further narrow down your target account list by applying additional data sources from  Madison Logic
    • Select Your Optimization Play 
      • All AccountsEntire set of accounts that Madison Logic can match against the excel file
      • PrioritizedYour account list is prioritized based on the topics they are trending upon
      • Trending - Accounts that are trending on specific topics you select
      • LookalikeMadison Logic will obtain the topics on which the accounts obtained from closed won opportunities were trending upon, use the same topics and provide a new list of similar looking accounts that can be targeted
    • Refine Targeting Using Additional Data Sources
      • Firmographic - Use company size, country, industry and revenue to narrow down your target account list
      • Intent - Limit your target accounts to those that are showing the highest intent on selected topics 
      • Technographic - Narrow your target accounts by the technology they're using 
    • Configure the Output
      • Maximum Number of Target Accounts - Maximum number of target accounts
      • Update Accounts Frequency - How often Madison Logic will dynamically update your list of target accounts
      • Age Accounts Frequency (primarily used for SFDC integration) - Select how long an account can stay in a certain stage before being removed from your target accounts
  6. Click "Next - Review Accounts" at the bottom right of the page
