Introduction
This document presents an installation and user guide towards a Salesforce Managed packaged app developed and hosted privately on Salesforce.com. If you are interested in Sales Insights in your Salesforce Account, you first have to link your Activate ABM™ account to your Salesforce Instance.
Authorize Salesforce
Once logged into Activate ABM™, go to User Menu > Integration

Choose which Salesforce.com environment you want to connect with
You will be directed to authenticate your Salesforce.com with Madison Logic. You will need to enter your Salesforce.com username and password, and grant permission for Madison Logic to leverage your Salesforce.com data. You must have admin rights in Salesforce in order to integrate it with Activate ABM™.
Manage Integration
Once you have successfully logged in, you will be brought to the Manage Integration Page for Salesforce. Click "Sales Insights Setup" in the left hand menu.

The private Madison Logic Salesforce package URL and authorization code can be found once you toggle Save the integration setting. Please be sure to pass both the package url and authorization code to your Salesforce Admin to complete the installation.
Package Installation in Salesforce
Grouping Users
Log into Salesforce in a new window. Click the link to install the package. Then select the group of users or user profiles that the package will be installed for and click the Install button.
Madison Logic Authorization
Authorize Activate ABM™ platform to communicate with Salesforce to grant access to Madison Logic
Package Authentication and Listing
Once installation is successful, the Client's Madison Logic package will require a shared key for further communication with Madison Logic’s Activate ABM™ Platform
Enter the provided authentication code in the configuration setting field located on the same page as the package link in Activate ABM™. User menu > Integration > Sales Insights Setup
Offline Installation
In some cases, the installation may take more time than expected. In such situations Salesforce, does the installation offline and sends an email to the user post installation.
After you receive the email confirmation, follow the below steps to complete authentication.

6. Click "Save" to save changes to the layout
Activate ABM™ Account Analytics Dashboard
Authorized users can view Activate ABM™'s Account details on the account detail page under the new section (Madison Logic Sales Insights).
Syncing Accounts
Madison Logic uses the website object to sync your targeted accounts with Salesforce. In order to insure that accounts in Salesforce are synced with Madison Logic, please make sure that the website field on the Salesforce Account page is filled in.

The Madison Logic installed package can be viewed under the installed packages in Salesforce
After successful installation of the “Madison Logic Sales Insight” package, the Salesforce admin will receive a confirmation email from support@salesforce.com.
Troubleshooting
Wrong key - If the Salesforce admin has entered wrong authentication code by mistake, he/she can update the shared key as below:

No data available error - ML Account Data Section will display a No Data Available message if no match is found between the website field for the Salesforce account and the associated domain in Activate ABM™ for any program you are running.
