Introduction

This document presents an installation and user guide towards a Salesforce Managed packaged app developed and hosted privately on Salesforce.com. If you are interested in Sales Insights in your Salesforce Account, you first have to link your Activate ABM account to your Salesforce Instance.

Once logged into Activate ABM, go to User Menu > Integration

Click the plus icon on the Salesforce tile

Choose which Salesforce.com environment you want to connect with

You will be directed to authenticate your Salesforce.com with Madison Logic.  You will need to enter your Salesforce.com username and password, and grant permission for Madison Logic to leverage your Salesforce.com data. You must have admin rights in Salesforce in order to integrate it with Activate ABM™.

Manage Integration

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be brought to the Manage Integration Page for Salesforce. Click "Sales Insights Setup" in the left hand menu.

Choose the Salesforce.com environment you want to integrate Sales Insight with and the Salesforce Organization ID of that instance. Click Save. (More information on finding your Salesforce Organization ID can be found here)

The private Madison Logic Salesforce package URL and authorization code can be found once you toggle Save the integration setting. Please be sure to pass both the package url and authorization code to your Salesforce Admin to complete the installation.
