Creative Guidelines for Display Ads

Madison Logic supports a wide variety of image sizes for display ads.  To ensure you reach your target accounts we encourage you to create and upload ads in as many sizes as you have available.  All images need to be in gif, jpeg, or png format and under 40KB file size.

HTML5 ads are supported.  Please reference the tables and noted below for HTML5 specifications.

  • All ad unit content should be clearly distringuishable from normal webpage content (i.e. ad unit must have clearly defined borders and not be confused with normal page content).
  • Please include small image file for 1 sec to visual-complete view.
  • Please include IAB self-regulated controls for ads using behavioral targeting (5 KB max file size).
  • Audio must be user-initiated if it is included with ad.  To allow for audio initiation in videos without player controls, a control may be included for the user to initiate audio.  Hotspot should not exceed 1/4 size of ad, only initiated when cursor rests on hotspot for at least 1 second and must not initiate audio.
